Jantine Van Peski

Jantine Van Peski graduated first with her Bachelor from AMFI ( Amsterdam Fashion Institute) and after she got her Master at the the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2011.
Her Master Collection is carrying the name "Wires 10.0" where Jantine got influenced by the macramé-technique, where she tried to build garments out of yarn and cord, straight on the body while using only one kind of knot.
Her collection is complete within 12 pieces and made with 100% silk yarns, merino wool, thin leather and silk.
It has a wondeful mix out of the handcrafted knotted pieces with the minimalistic pure design of the garments.
The whole shoot reminds me a bit on a Horse shoot. Strong, Proud and full of Free Spirit with its Fragility....
