Hearing rumors of a Norwegian duo being hyped as the new First Aid Kit, was more than sufficient reason to give Mona & Maria a listen. The soundscape is more complex than that of the Swedish siblings, and the comparison might be somewhat unfair, as Mona & Maria has managed to produce an edgy dreaminess that is completely their own.
