The first time
that I was triggert to learn more about Lyson Marchessault (stylist and fashion
editor) was when I was reading one of my favourite magazine’s: LULA magazine,
issue 16. She collaborated with Jessie Lily Adams for the editorial: The
empress the empress.

While Googling
her I was hoping to get thousands interviews where I could read more about her
lifestyle, her choices and selections in her work. What inspires Lyson
Marchessault and how do she translate it in to a visual concept? I did not get
these kinds of interviews but saw more work of her that was really familiar to
me.
This means that
Lyson has a particular signature that stays whit people. I would like to
subscribe her work, as something magical, romantic and she love to work with contrasts
in materials. She creates a story by her styling that comes together in the
photo. The styling strengthens the model. When I look to her work I can almost
feel the vibe where the editorial was created.
