Niels Peeraer, a pretty young Master-graduate from the Royal Academy of Fashion in Antwerp, won my attention with his collection "guess technology isn't ready for pancake teleportation"

Next to my attention he also won 5 awards which also included an exhibition at the Fashion Museum MOMA.
With His Master Collection he got inspired by his diary entry : "I’m confused, I’m sitting here on the sofa, the heart my boyfriend drew on the mirror is still there, my heart in a rice cooker. I think I’ll marry him again at lunch. My cat is sleeping but it’s already been four days. Well, I have to go to the supermarket anyway. Guess technology isn’t ready for pancake teleportation."
With this in mind Niels created a pastel-colored Collection about a Boy who prepares himself everyday to get married to his imaginary boyfriend, while wearing the couture Jacket of his grandma, playing videogames and eating sweets everyday.
A really feminine soft Men Collection was the outcome. Niels Peeraer's maingoal was indeed to blur the boarders between female and male clothing.
He definitely achieved all of that..
